• The BJP-led Central Government is a Government of the poor people, underprivileged section, farmers. From the day one of its formation in May last year, the NDA Government is working for the common people continuously and with complete honesty.
• Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is concerned for the poor people of the country. Farmers, women, poor people and youths are our priority.
• The Modi Government’s aim is to take the light of development to the last person of the society through social security revolution.
• The three schemes- ‘’Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana’’ (PMSBY), ‘’Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana’’ (PMJJBY) and ‘’Atal Pension Yojana’’ (APY)- are a part of our government’s efforts to provide social and economic security to all citizens especially deprived sections of the society.
• Launch of these three schemes is a historic decision. It will help crores of the people of the country who were not covered yet in any type of insurance or pension security.
• These ambitious schemes, which were announced in the Budget 2015, are a part of our Government’s vision of ‘’Jandhan and Jansuraksha’’ and aimed at bringing the poor people under social security cover. It will also instill a sense of confidence among them
.• This step of the NDA Government will be a path breaking measure towards providing affordable universal access to social security protection in a convenient manner to the common man.
• The ‘’Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana’’ and ‘’Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana’’ will provide insurance cover in the unfortunate event of death by any cause or disability due to an accident at a very low premium rate. The ‘’Atal Pension Yojana’’ will provide old age income security.
• These insurance and pension schemes will also benefit crores of workers engaged in unorganised sector.
• Our Government is fulfilling every promise it made to the people. Our intention is very clear that we have to work for welfare of the poor people with all our strength. Our agenda is development with the mantra of ‘’Sabka sath sabka vikas’’.
• There is a great difference between functioning of the previous Governments and the NDA Government. Our aim is not only to launch welfare schemes but we are taking steps to implement these schemes strictly and with complete honesty and transparency at grass root level so that benefits of the welfare programmes reach to the needy.
• Our Government is not bringing the welfare schemes from the point of view of elections or votes. It is also our intention to complete all the welfare programmes within the five year mandate given by the people of the country.
• Our Government wants to make it clear that any dereliction in implementation of the welfare schemes will not be tolerated. Responsibility of implementing these schemes in a given time frame is of the concerned departments and officials.
• The Central Government will complete its one year in power this month and I can say proudly that our Government has initiated a number of welfare schemes in this period. There is a positive atmosphere in the country as our Government has taken steps for development of all sections of the society from the youths to women to poor people to farmers.
• Our farmers feed crores of the people, they have also a right of development. Our Government brought Ordinance regarding land acquisition which will benefit the farmers. It will ensure speedy infrastructure development and interests of the farmers have also been kept in mind.
• Under the NDA Government’s Land Bill, compensation amount to farmers will be up to 4 times higher than the market price. Farmers will be made partner in the development process, employment will be given to at least one member of the family whose land will be acquired.
• This Bill is not for businessmen. No concessions have been given to the private companies for setting up private hotels, private schools, and private hospitals in this Bill.
• This Bill will create employment opportunities in the rural areas of the country. But some political parties especially the Congress is running a campaign to misguide the farmers about the Bill but it is clear that the farmers of the country will not be misguided by anyone and they also feel that our Land Bill will ensure their growth.
• To tackle corruption, our Government has started ‘’e-auction’’ of coal blocks and other natural resources which has brought thousands of crores of rupees to the Government exchequer, this money will be used for welfare of the poor people.
• India’s image at the world level has been strengthened during last one year. Our Government, under the leadership of great leader Shri Modi, helped not only Indian citizens but also people of the other nations during Yemen crisis and Nepal earthquake. The entire world praised our efforts.
• The common people are in our focus and it reflects in the schemes launched by the Central Government such as ‘’Jan Dhan Yojana’’, ‘’Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’’, ‘’Make in India’’, ‘’Digital India’’, ‘’Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’’ and others.
• Our Government assures all sections of the society especially the poor and underprivileged people that we are always with them. Each and every step of the Central Government is being taken in the interest of the common man. All the people should utilize these schemes for their social and financial development.
