Senior BJP leader and former Union Cabinet Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is a meaningful mantra of safety, security, peace and prosperity of the entire world and the humanity.
Addressing a conference in Lucknow on India-Iran bilateral relations, organised by India Foundation, New Delhi and Iran’s Institute of Political and International Studies, Shri Naqvi said that India's relations with most of the countries have become more stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the whole world is one family) is need of the hour for safety and prosperity of the humanity.

During the Corona crisis, India-made vaccines not only helped in saving the lives of Indians, but India also provided free vaccines to many other countries. Now even during the Russia-Ukraine war, India has played a very balanced and sensitive role.
Shri Naqvi said that principles of Mahatma Gandhi and determination of Prime Minister Shri Modi have made India a "torch bearer" of social harmony, tolerance, peace and prosperity. India is one of the few nations which has given priority to the needs of the country, its people and also the entire humanity without bowing to any pressure. Shri Naqvi said that India has emerged as a strong "Global Leader" under the dynamic and effective leadership of Shri Modi. During any crisis, India is playing an effective role of "protector of peace".
