Senior BJP leader and former Union Cabinet Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that the Congress leadership’s “political journey of gentle man to mental man" is nothing but “an attempt by the captain to sink his own ship”.
Replying to reporters in New Delhi today, Shri Naqvi said that the Congress has become a “credit card of confusion & contradiction” which has neither any value outside nor inside.
While replying to reporters when asked about the statement made by senior NCP leader Shri Sharad Pawar, Shri Naqvi, without naming anyone, said that “instead of learning from the message, some Opposition leaders are attacking the messenger itself” which shows their “mental bankruptcy”.
Shri Naqvi said that those who are unable to handle “Mohalla” (street) are dreaming about running the country. They are deliberately ignoring the fact that there is a “Modi Mood” across the country.
Shri Naqvi said that in their habit of “hat-trick of hit wicket”, these people have jumped into the “well of confusion” but they are unable to come out. Stupidity of these people is drowning their companions as well.
When asked about communal incidents occurred at some places in the country, Shri Naqvi said that communal frenzy is a hurdle in the path of country’s harmony and prosperity. Those who are carrying “cannon of communalism” on the “shoulder of secularism” are the biggest enemies of the country and religion. The people have to remain cautious of those who are roaming around carrying “veil of secularism and cart of conspiracies” to create “communal confusion” in the society.
