Senior BJP leader and former Union Cabinet Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that there is a huge difference between a “leader by chance” and a “leader by choice”. While Modi Ji is a “leader by democratic choice”, Rahul Gandhi is a “leader by dynastic chant”.

While addressing a press conference at BJP Kerala office at Kalpetta in Wayanad, Shri Naqvi said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has become a “Saint of Political Purification” who is destroying the “Termite of Corruption, Communalism, Casteism” to make “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”. India’s global stature has grown significantly under his dynamic leadership.

Shri Naqvi said that Shri Modi, who comes from a humble background, understands the pain of a common man. That’s why his each and every welfare scheme is centred on the every needy person. Development with dignity, empowerment without discrimination is the mantra of the Modi government.

Shri Naqvi said that Shri Modi has purified the Indian politics by making it free from the “disease of dynastic politics”. He has defeated “politics of circumambulation” with his “Tapasya Ki Taqat” (strength of asceticism) and his devotion to inclusive development.

Shri Naqvi said that under the leadership of Shri Modi, “democratic dignity" has defeated "dynastic arrogance". Those who have been defeated democratically by the people of the country are now engaged in “display of deception” in foreign countries. They are trying to portray the “defeat of dynasty” as a “danger on democracy”. They are still in hangover of "Indira is India, dynasty is democracy." Shri Naqvi said that a “leader becomes great not by power but by his commitment, courage and conviction to empower the nation."

Shri Naqvi said that the last nine years of the Modi Government have been glorious years of “reform, perform and transform”. A total of 80 crore people have been provided free food grains under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana; 12 crore houses have been provided drinking water through taps; 3 crore poor people have been provided pacca houses under PM Awas Yojana; 12 crore toilets have been constructed across the country under Swachh Bharat Mission; 40 crore people have been given easy loans for various economic activities under Mudra Yojana; free LPG gas connections have been given to 10 crore women from economically weaker sections; more than 220 crore Corona vaccine doses have been given in the world’s largest vaccination drive; 37 crore people have been provided free medical treatment under Ayushman Yojana; 11 crore farmers have been given benefits of Kisan Samman Nidhi.

On his three-day Kerala visit, Shri Naqvi today participated in various programmes in Wayanad. He attended Pushparchana at Vythiri Karinthandan Smrithi Mandapam; he visited residences of Dr Vinod from Kannur Ayurvedic Multi Speciality Hospital & Yoga Research Centre and Purnayoo Arogya Nikethanam’s chief physician Dr. K. Padmanabham and informed them about achievements of the Modi Government; he visited Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Skill Development Centre at Kalpetta and interacted with the students. Shri Naqvi also visited New International IT Company at Bathery; interacted with farmers at Pulpally and also interacted with Tribals at their colony in Chethalayam.
