From the first day of its formation, NDA Government, led by a visionary and nationalistic leader and a person of strong will Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has been working with the mantra of ‘’Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’’. This Government is dedicated to welfare of the poor people of the country and our every single step has manifested this commitment to socio-economic and educational empowerment of every section of the society.

Good governance and transparency are the hallmark of the NDA Government, which has completed its one year in office on May 26, 2015. A positive environment has been prevailing in the entire country.Our Government‘s aim is to take light of development to the last person of the society. We want the poorest of poor reap benefits of development process.

The NDA Government had inherited an economy which was in poor condition, there was a ‘’policy paralysis’’ which badly affected the nation’s growth. But our Government has changed this situation completely. Decisions, which are beneficial for the people of the country, are being taken firmly and quickly; Indian economy is back on growth trajectory; jobs are being generated. India is moving with a great speed on development path.

The economic growth rate was between 3-4 per cent during earlier regime. According to various estimates, Indian economy is expected to grow between 7 to 8 per cent in 2015 and 2016. The Modi Government has restored credibility of Indian economy, the entire world is looking at us with a respect and trust.This Government has been working with a solemn pledge for welfare of the common man, downtrodden, youths, women, farmers. The Central Government has taken measures so that development reaches to the people of all sections of the society without any discrimination.

The NDA Government has initiated various welfare schemes such as ‘’Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana’’, ‘’Pradhan Mantri Jivan Jyoti Yojana’’, ‘’Pradhan Mantri Suraskha Bima Yojana’’, ‘’Atal Pension Yojana’’, ‘’Swachh Bharat’’, ‘’Make in India’’, ‘’Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’’, ‘’Mission Empowerment’’, ‘’Ustaad’’ and others. These schemes will provide socio-economic security cover to crores of people including minority communities. These schemes will be a guarantee of all-round development of the poor people.

The ambitious programmes such as 'AMRUT' (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation), 'Smart Cities Mission', and Housing for All (Urban) will be a game changer in infrastructure development in the country. The Modi Government has established complete transparency in government functioning. Precious natural resources like coal and spectrum are being allocated through transparent process of ‘E-auction’. Money received through these resources is being used for welfare of the common people.

During the one year of the Modi Government, ‘power brokers’ and ‘middlemen’ have been removed from the power corridors of Delhi. These people are frustrated and are trying to discredit the Central Government through malicious and false campaign. But any such destructive agenda will never succeed.‘Loot lobby’, which was deep-rooted in the power corridors for the last several years, has been kicked out by the NDA Government and such elements will never appear again till our Government is there.Our Government does not believe just in announcing the schemes. We have taken concrete and earnest measures to implement all the welfare schemes at the grass root level and any dereliction in implementation of these programmes will not be tolerated.

The BJP Government has been working for growth of all sectors- infrastructure, agriculture, education, health and others. We are committed to welfare of the farmers, their interests are of utmost importance for us. At the same time, industrial development is also in our focus. Prime Minister Shri Modi wants to make India a manufacturing hub of the world and ‘’Make in India’’ initiative will be very helpful in achieving this goal.

One of the significant move by the Modi Government for India’s progress is that the Central Government has made States a part of the nation’s development journey. Working as ‘’Team India’’, the Centre and the States will take India to new heights of development.There is no doubt that due to efforts of the BJP-led Central Government, India’s prestige has increased at the world level.
