Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs (Independent Charge) & Parliamentary Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that those people who are misusing the Islam as a “shield” for their ill designs of terrorism are the biggest enemies of both the Islam and the humanity.

Shri Naqvi said that the entire world has been coming together against these enemies of the humanity which are active with different names. Destruction of such evil forces should be the commitment of the humanity.

While addressing a training camp, organized in Mumbai for Haj pilgrims, Shri Naqvi said that Minority Affairs Ministry has been sending senior officials of the Ministry to Saudi Arabia to take stock of arrangements, facilities, safety and helping to about 1 lakh 36 thousand Indians who have been proceeding for Haj yatra this year.

Shri Naqvi said that Haj pilgrimage is a cherished desire of every Muslim in his life time. Shri Naqvi said that during the pilgrimage, besides prayers for their and their families’ prosperity, Haj pilgrims should also pray for unity, peace, prosperity and harmony in our country and the entire world.

Several information regarding Haj pilgrimage were provided in the training camp, organized by Sahyog Cultural Society, which included cooperation of each other during the yatra. Shri Naqvi congratulated to Sahyog Cultural Society for organizing such camp to help Haj pilgrims.

About 4,500 Haj pilgrims will proceed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for Haj pilgrimage from Mumbai this year from August 27.

For Haj 2016, about 1,00,020 Haj pilgrims have been facilitated from 21 points across India through Haj Committee. Apart from this, 36,000 Haj pilgrims have been proceeding through the private tour operators.
