Press release regarding my speech during inauguration of N.A. Global Law School campus & convocation ceremony of 12th batch of American Academy of Implant Dentistry at Bengaluru:

Bengaluru, 30 Jan, 2016: Union Minister of State for Parliamentary & Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that educational institutions of the country should run an awareness campaign regarding the evil forces who are misusing religion as their shield so that youths of the nation are not misguided by these terror elements.

In his address at inauguration of N.A. Global Law School campus & convocation ceremony of 12th batch of American Academy of Implant Dentistry at Bengaluru, Shri Naqvi said that I am happy that besides some isolated incidents, terror groups such as ISIS and al-Qaeda have failed in spreading their presence in India. We have to continue our fight against these elements.

Shri Naqvi said that the entire world has been working to destroy these evil forces. Such evil groups neither have relation with any religion nor do they have any ideology. “These forces want to establish their evil empire by killing human values”.

Describing terrorism and radicalism as the biggest threat to the entire world, Shri Naqvi said that the educational institutes should impart education on principles of all the religions which oppose strongly any form of terrorism, bloodshed and violence because these terror forces are engaged in a campaign to misguide the people misusing religion.

Shri Naqvi said that due to the strength of India’s unity, harmony and brotherhood, ISIS and other terror outfits have been failed in their nefarious designs. Still, we have to be alert against these terror groups. There is a need for a nation-wide awareness campaign against these forces. The Central Government, states, security and intelligence agencies, religious leaders, educational institutes, intellectual people and media will have to become part of this campaign.

Shri Naqvi said that after recent terror incidents and arrests, it is clear that ISIS and other terrorist groups want to harm India, they want to disturb atmosphere of peace, harmony and prosperity. These forces are enemies of both the humanity and the Islam.

Shri Naqvi said that these terror groups have been making religion as their shield and we have to be alert against their activities. If we will link terrorism with any particular religion, then the terror forces will succeed in their motives because such elements use division and confrontation in the society as their weapon.

Shri Naqvi said that the youths must understand that they should not be misguided by terror groups. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi-led Central Government is dedicated to provide a better future to the youths. We are working with a commitment to make every youth, a part of the nation’s progress by getting employment through good education and skill development.

Shri Naqvi said that the Centre’s programmes such as “Skill India”, “Make in India”, “Startup India” will provided ample opportunities to the youths. It’s our duty to strengthen fabric of harmony and prosperity in the country. Minorities’ institutions should work to provide technical and mainstream education to far flung villages.
