New Delhi, 06 Nov, 2015: Union Minister of State for Parliamentary and Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today chaired an important review meeting here on Prime Minister’s new 15-point programme for socio-economic-educational development and empowerment of minorities.

Representatives from 17 different Central Government Ministries attended the meeting.

Shri Naqvi stressed on the need for effective implementation of the various welfare schemes at the ground level.

Shri Naqvi said that the Centre’s Modi Government is serious about inclusive growth of poor people and the minorities.

Shri Naqvi further stressed that there is need for providing benefits of welfare schemes and light of development to the last needy person.

Shri Naqvi said that our aim is to provide benefits of development to the needy without any hurdle.

The meeting was fruitful as representatives of various ministries assured that the welfare schemes will be taken to the ground level with complete sincerity and commitment.

Shri Naqvi also stressed on the need for better coordination among the states regarding welfare programmes for poor people and the minorities.
