My Press release regarding meeting with members of film community, artists & writers Mumbai, 03 Nov, 2015 :

Mumbai, 03 Nov, 2015: Union Minister of State for Parliamentary and Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that some “frustrated feudalists” are trying to disturb communal harmony and unity of the country in the name of ‘intolerance’. “Mentality of doing politics in the name of “fabricated intolerance” is a conspiracy to destroy atmosphere of harmony and development of the country.

While meeting with members of film producers’ guild, writers and other artists, Shri Naqvi said that the Centre’s Narendra Modi Government is committed to development and unity of the country. No destructive agenda can dominate this development agenda.

Shri Naqvi said that the Modi Government has been moving forward on path of inclusive development. But unfortunately, some disappointed people, who wanted failure of the Modi Government for the last several months, are now creating issues out of non-issue. These issues are far away from the ground reality.

Shri Naqvi said that the members of film community, artists, writers and others  should understand the ground reality that the country is moving ahead on development path under the Modi Government. Development and harmony are moving ahead together in the country.

Shri Naqvi said that despite international economic crisis, the Indian economy is strong and stable due to honesty, effective functioning and performance of the Modi Government.

Shri Naqvi said that some “vested interests” are not able to digest this and they are trying to create such a fake environment in the name of ‘intolerance’ and trying to spread misinformation across the world that that India’s harmony and unity are in danger.

Shri Naqvi said that those who are doing politics in the name of ‘intolerance’ are those “traditional-professional opponents” of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the BJP, who always see negative in the place of positive and destruction in the place of development.

Shri Naqvi said that the members of film community and artists have always actively contributed in the nation’s development and unity. I hope that this time also, these intellectuals will defeat the agenda of “politically motivated and fabricated intolerance” by some people. Shri Naqvi said that each and every step of the Modi Government is being taken for welfare of farmers, women, youths, dalits and minorities. We want cooperation of all sections to strengthen these steps.
