Speeches

Rampur, 27th July 2019: Salient points of my speech while addressing BJP “Karykarta Sammelan” in Rampur today:

Senior BJP leader and Union Minority Affairs Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that “egotism and arrogance in public life” becomes the main reason behind downfall of a person.

Addressing “BJP Karykarta Sammelan” in Rampur today, Shri Naqvi said that we can cure “disease of arrogance and egotism” with the help of “medicine of decency and humility”.

Shri Naqvi said that it’s a very old saying that, “the tree that has the most fruit is the tree that bends to the ground.” It is the nature. But we can see that "the power becomes cause of arrogance for some people”.

Shri Naqvi said that the history teaches that the people with "chaos, egotism, arrogance" can make the common people scared but they can’t earn respect of the common people. Every person working in public life should keep this in mind.

Shri Naqvi said that today the Bharatiya Janata Party is the largest political party in the world. It’s because of contribution of those lakhs of party workers who have not only won the hearts of people but also connected them with the BJP with their “modesty and humility”.

Shri Naqvi said that we should become the one who connects the people with his “decent behavior and good character” and not the one who separates. "Arrogance and vengeance” are two sides of the same coin. Feeling of “arrogance and vengeance” destroys not only a person but also the humanity.

Shri Naqvi said that today the BJP is heading the Government at the Centre; the BJP has governments in 16 states; the BJP has 381 Members of Parliament and 1350 MLAs across the country; the BJP has 11 crore members. These all are a matter of pride for us, and not “arrogance”. We have to increase this strength, by our hard work and decent behavior.

Shri Naqvi said that the BJP has not only become the world’s largest political party, it has also become a source of inspiration for those people who believe in democratic values.

Shri Naqvi said that the BJP workers’ discipline is their strength. BJP workers work with the guiding Mantra of “Nation First, Party Next, Self Last”. The BJP has always worked with the commitment to national interest and public interest. The BJP has now become a synonym for development in the country and the party workers should act as a bridge for communication between the public and the government.

Shri Naqvi said that the world’s largest political party the BJP has 11 crore workers across the country and our target is to increase the number of party workers by at least 20 per cent. It means our target is to add 2 crore 20 lakh new members.
