Kishangarh Bas, Alwar (Rajasthan), 17th Dec, 2017:Press release regarding my speech in “Progress Panchayat” and inauguration/foundation stone laying of various development projects at Kishangarh Bas, Alwar (Rajasthan):

Union Minority Affairs Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that the Modi Government is “determined to development without any discrimination” and we have ensured that all sections of the society including Minorities are becoming an equal partner of development process.

Addressing "Progress Panchayat" at Kishangarh Bas in Alwar (Rajasthan), Shri Naqvi said that by defeating those people who want to disrupt the development process, we are following the path of "Empowerment without Appeasement" and "Development with Dignity” so that “light of development” reaches to all the needy sections- the poor, weaker sections and minorities, without any hindrance.

Shri Naqvi said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi-led Government has prepared it’s all policies keeping in mind the welfare of villages, poor, farmers, youth and women.

Shri Naqvi said that the Modi Government is a Government of "reform, perform & transform". Be it the security of the country, economy, social reform, political reform, the Modi Government has been successful on every front.

Shri Naqvi said that blockade of “loot lobby” from “power corridors” has ensured that each and every penny of the Government money is being utilised for the welfare of the needy. Shri Naqvi said that this clean, honest and transparent system has been resulted into socio-economic-educational empowerment of poor, weaker sections, Minorities on the ground level.

Shri Naqvi said that some people are unable to digest the atmosphere of trust and development created by the Modi Government. These people are trying to disturb the atmosphere of development through their negative agenda. But the Modi Government will not allow any destructive agenda to dominate our development agenda.

Launched in 2016 from Mewat in Haryana, “Progress Panchayat” have been organised in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and other states.

Shri Naqvi said that schemes of the Minority Affairs Ministry such as "Hunar Haat", "Seekho aur Kamao”, "Nai Manzil”, "Gharib Nawaz Skill Development Scheme”, "Nai Roushni” have proved to be an important step towards the skill development of minorities. In last about 3 years, these schemes have succeeded in providing employment and employment opportunities to more than 50 lakh people from Minority communities.

Shri Naqvi said that participation of Minorities in Central Government jobs, which was about 5 percent in 2014, has gone up to 10 percent in 2017. Shri Naqvi said that in this year's Civil Services exam, more than 120 Minority youth have been selected, out of which 52 are from Muslim community. There has been an increase of about 90 percent in the number of Minority communities’ candidates selected in civil services. For the first time since Independence, the minority community candidates have been successful in the civil services in such a large number. This is the effect of our “Empowerment without Appeasement” policy.

Shri Naqvi said that during the last about 3 years, under the Multi Sectoral Development Programme, in the minority dominated areas, 4377 health centres, 37068 anganwadi centres, 10649 drinking water facilities, 32000 additional class rooms, 1817 school buildings, 15 degree colleges, 169 ITIs, 48 polytechnics, 248 multi-purpose community hall “Sadbhav Mandap”, 1064 hostels, 27 Gurukul type residential schools have been constructed.

Besides addressing “Progress Panchayat”, Shri Naqvi also laid foundation stone of various projects including Minority Boys’ Hostel, Daugada; Minority Girls’ Hostel, Bambora; Sadbhav Mandap, Kishangarh Bas; widening of road from Bamboraghat to Raibka Chowki Road, Kishangarh Bas. He also inaugurated various development projects including Govt. Higher Secondary School, Ratakhurd; Govt. Higher Secondary School, Mahond; Govt. Higher Secondary School, Sirmoli; Govt. Higher Secondary School, Harsana; Govt. Higher Secondary school, Kakraali Mev; Primary Health Centre, Chhaupanki; Sub-Health Centre, Gotoli and Sub-Health Centre, Raikheda.
