Speeches

Sirsi, Sambhal (UP), 10th Feb, 2017: Salient points of my speech during an election rally at Sirsi, Sambhal in UP:

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said that only the BJP can bring Uttar Pradesh out of the “mess of corruption, gundaraj & plight. Only the BJP can take the state forward on the path of progress and prosperity.

All the communities should vote without being influenced by the propaganda of some elements. “They should use their vote not to defeat but to make victorious”.

Addressing an election rally at Sadak Sarai at Sirsi in Sambhal district, Shri Naqvi said that the BJP will make Uttar Pradesh free from “mafiaraj, gundaraj, alliance of corrupt”. The BJP will give a government which will be committed to development, trust, good governance. The BJP believes in “Draft of Development” and not in “vote bank”.

Shri Naqvi said that while the Congress has become “benami property of corrupt” which has put “To-Let” board on its door, the Samajwadi Party has become a “tenant of this benami property of dishonest”. The BSP has become a “den of musclemen and corrupt”.

Shri Naqvi said that the BJP will form the next Government in Uttar Pradesh with a thumping majority. The BJP believes in “inclusive growth and trust” and it’s the guarantee of development of all sections of the society.

Shri Naqvi said that villages, poor, farmers, weaker sections, dalits, minorities, youths, women are at the centre of all the welfare schemes and programmes of the Central Government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Our commitment is bringing “happiness in eyes and prosperity in life” of the poor. Shri Modi is working to provide light of development to the last person of the society. Shri Modi is a “Man Of Determination & Inspiration”.

Shri Naqvi said that the BJP has done “Empowerment without Appeasement”. BJP believes in development, “inclusive growth”. But some people are unable to digest the atmosphere of trust and development, created by the Modi Government. These people exploited the poor & weaker sections politically for several decades.

While on the one hand, the people of the country, the people of Uttar Pradesh are happy with the development works done by the Modi Government, they are supporting demonetisation which has launched a decisive battle against corruption and black money. Some political parties are frustrated and panicked because in one stroke, their black money, hoarded after loot of public money for several decades has reduced to mere scrap. These parties have united to stop the BJP.

Shri Naqvi said that those people who used to criticise each other before the elections were announced and blamed each other for the deteriorated situation in the state, have now come together against the BJP.

These parties are scared so much due to the atmosphere of trust and development that they have forgotten their decades’ old enmity and come together against the BJP. But the reality is that their political base has been eroded. “The cycle has been punctured and some people want to hold the handle of this punctured cycle to save their sinking ship”.

Shri Naqvi appealed to the people that instead of becoming “a member of baraat (marriage procession) of dishonest”, they should become a part of development process. It will be good for the country, the state and the entire society.

Talking about achievements of the Modi Government, Shri Naqvi said that under “Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana”, those about 11,000 villages, which were in darkness even after about seven decades of the independence, has been provided electricity. More than 1.5 crore poor families have been given LPG connections free of cost during the last year.

Steps have been taken to double the income of farmers. “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”, “Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana” are dedicated to girls and women.

“Pradhanmantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana” has provided job-oriented training to lakhs of youths so that commitment to provide job to every hand can be fulfilled.

Various Central schemes and fund sent by the Centre for development activities has been misused in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP Government in UP is must to make the state as an “ideal state”.
