Speeches

Moradabad, 18th Dec, 2016: Salient points of my speech at “Job Fair” organised at Moradabad (UP):

Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs (Independent Charge) & Parliamentary Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that the battle against corruption-black money, initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the guarantee of prosperous future of the country’s poor, weaker sections and youths, and it is our collective responsibility to defeat those who want to weaken our efforts against menace of corruption.

Addressing youths on the last day of two-day “Rojgar Mela” (job fair), organised at Government Polytechnic at Harthala in Moradabad by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), New Delhi, Shri Naqvi said that the NDA Government has been working with a commitment to provide employment to every hand.

The Modi Government is a “Government of economic reforms” and it is working with an aim to provide fruits of development to the last person of the society and making him a part of development process.

Shri Naqvi said that the Skill Mission, launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 15 July 2015, has gathered tremendous steam under the guidance of Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge), during the last one year.

Shri Naqvi said that about 1.04 crore youths were trained through Central Government Programmes and NSDC associated training partners in the private sector. Shri Naqvi said that the youths should take maximum benefits from employment oriented schemes such as “Skill India”, “Stand up India”, “Start up India”. Besides this, Ministry of Minority Affairs has been running employment oriented programmes such as “Seekho aur Kamao” and “Nai Manzil”.

Shri Naqvi said that efforts of the Modi Government have resulted into significant increase in number of employees belonging to Minority communities in the Central Government. A total of 9.2 lakh people belonging to Minority communities were employed with the Central Government ministries and other departments as March 2016.

Shri Naqvi said that some people are unable to digest these measures taken by the Modi Government for economic development of the country. The Congress and its allies are creating hurdles in the path of nation’s development. These people are opposing historic decision of demonetisation, which will help in tackling corruption and black money. They are obstructing progress of poor, weaker sections, Minorities and youth by disrupting Parliament. But these political parties should keep it in mind that the people of the country, the youth of the country are with us.

The “job fair” in Moradabad was organised by NSDC in collaboration with various Sector Skill Councils, Industry leaders & partners. “Rozgar Mela” is being organized at 19 different commissionaries (covering 17 divisions excluding Varanasi + Noida & Ghaziabad) across Uttar Pradesh from 19th November to 20th December, 2016 for the candidates trained under several skill development schemes of Govt. of India & other related schemes.
