Speeches

Bareilly, 10th Dec, 2016:My press release during “Parivartan Yatra” in Bareilly (UP):

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that the people witnessed slogans against corruption for the last several decades but this time, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s bold and decisive action against corruption has written the story of prosperity of the poor and bankruptcy of those who hoarded black money.

Addressing a large number of people during “Parivartan Yatra” at Faridpur, Bithri Chainpur and Amla in Bareilly, Shri Naqvi said that the battle against black money-corruption started by Prime Minister Shri Modi is not “Rajniti” (politics) but it is “Rashtraniti”. This “Rashtraniti” will proved to be a guarantee for happiness in the eyes and prosperity in the life of poor people.

Shri Naqvi said that some political parties and people, who gave permission to “loot lobby” for the last seven decades to usurp the public money, have been exposed before the entire nation. Now, they are opposing Shri Modi’s decision which has been taken in the interest of the common man with complete honesty.

Shri Naqvi said that such political parties are behaving against mood of the nation because the common man, standing in the line in front of a bank or an ATM, has been wholeheartedly supporting this decision of demonetization. Poor, those living in Jhuggi-Jhopri and farmers are supporting the Modi Government as they feel that this step will accelerate the nation’s journey on the path of prosperity.

Shri Naqvi said that in its first Cabinet meeting in May 2014, the Modi Government had constituted a SIT on black money. The Income Declaration Scheme and other measures have helped to unearth black money worth more than 1.25 lakh crores.

Shri Naqvi said that the ten-year regime of the Congress-led UPA saw mammoth scams such as Commonwealth Games scam, 2G Spectrum scam, coal scam, Adarsh society scam taking place right under the nose of the Central Government. Today, these people are unable to digest the measures taken for the people’s progress. They are feeling troubled due to steps taken towards an honest and transparent system in the country.

These people are not bothered about the common man, their ruckus on demonetization only reflects disappointment and panic among the “loot lobby”.

Shri Naqvi said that some political parties have disrupted proceedings of Parliament opposing an honest decision taken by the Modi Government. These parties do not want a serious discussion on demonetization, their only motive is to create noise. Their “Aakrosh Diwas” and “Kala Diwas” had been failed to garner support from the people.

Shri Naqvi said that hard and bold decisions like demonetization some problems. But the common people are ready to face some problems as they are confident that the decision will ensure their prosperity.

Shri Naqvi further said that “Babua and Bua” of Uttar Pradesh are also feeling troubled after the demonetization. Illogical opposition by the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party have exposed them completely. Black money hoarded by some people turned into scrap overnight that’s why such people are worried. But why Chief Minister Shri Akhilesh Yadav and Behan Ji Mayawati are worried after demonetization?

Shri Naqvi said that “Babua and Bua” both have ruined Uttar Pradesh. Law and order situation had been worst during their governments. The Samajwadi Party has been failed to act against land and mining mafia.

Shri Naqvi said that the people of Uttar Pradesh are fed up with “Babua and Bua” and “Chacha and Bhatija”. The people want change in the government, they have decided to bring back the BJP in the state with a complete majority. Only the BJP can take the state forward on the path of development.

Shri Naqvi said that the Modi Government has been working with the commitment to socio-economic-educational empowerment of farmers, dalits and weaker sections including Minorities. Schemes such as “Jan Dhan Yojana” and “Ujjwala Yojana” have proved to be a guarantee of progress of the last person of the society.

More than one crore free of cost cooking gas connections have been given to poor families under “Ujjwala Yojana”. About 34 lakh gas connections have been given in Uttar Pradesh by our Government. The Modi Government has been working on a mission to provide house to all by 2022.
